HeartStone Ministry
HeartStone Ministry is a humanist and pluralistic faith community devoted to care, ceremony, reflection, and ethical presence across the many seasons of human life. We exist to support individuals, families, and communities through moments of transition, meaning, and connection—without doctrine, hierarchy, or division.
Our ministry is grounded in the inherent dignity of every person and the understanding that presence, compassion, and responsibility are essential human practices.
Our Approach to Ministry
HeartStone understands ministry through presence, not persuasion or belief enforcement. We meet people where they are, honoring conscience, lived experience, and the many ways individuals find meaning in their lives.
Our work is shaped by humanist values and a pluralistic respect for diverse traditions, cultures, and worldviews. We do not ask individuals to adopt a shared belief system. Instead, we create space for reflection, care, and ethical engagement rooted in shared humanity.

Pluralism & Shared Humanity
HeartStone Ministry affirms that people arrive at meaning through many paths. We honor religious, spiritual, secular, and humanist perspectives without ranking or privileging one over another.
Our humanist foundation emphasizes dignity, ethical responsibility, compassion, and relationship. Our pluralistic practice ensures that ministry remains inclusive, respectful, and responsive to the real lives people live—rather than abstract belief systems.
Stewardship & Responsibility
HeartStone Ministry is stewarded with care, intention, and accountability. Formation, ethical conduct, and responsibility are central to our understanding of ministry, particularly in areas of care, ceremony, and ordination.
We take seriously the trust placed in us by those we serve.
How We Are Organized
HeartStone Ministry is organized as a faith-based ministry under 26 U.S.C. § 508(c)(1)(a). Our structure allows us to operate as a ministry focused on care, teaching, ceremony, and formation, while maintaining transparency and ethical clarity in how we serve and receive support.
An Open Ministry
HeartStone Ministry welcomes people of all backgrounds who seek care, meaning, and ethical presence in the human journey. Whether you arrive in a moment of joy, transition, or quiet reflection, you are welcome here.
